IdeaScale Opens D.C. Office
Seattle-based innovation and idea management software company IdeaScale has expanded to the east by opening an office in Washington D.C., through which it will support its federal clients.
Founded by Vivek Bhaskaran and Kevin Battey in 2002, the company provides software for gathering opinions and ideas from public and private communities, and a platform for voting on ideas.
The firm has expanded after winning several large-scale federal government contracts, including the Reducing Administrative Distractions (RAD) initiative, which will engage the entire US Navy, as well as NASA and Department of Labor initiatives.
CEO Rob Hoehn (pictured) comments: 'IdeaScale has its root in government work and we are committed to providing a product that serves all levels of employee and citizen engagement. To that end, we want to ensure that there is a standing presence at the center of federal government operations while we work to serve all of our customers globally.'
