New Zealand Research Agency For Sale
New Zealand-based full service quant and qual agency Cinta Research is looking for a buyer, as founder and MD Fiona Hudson looks to focus her attention on her daughter's career as New Zealand's top alpine skier.
Hudson told DRNO Cinta had performed consistently well over its seventeen years, and gave her 'a surplus of over $150K for the most recent year' from something like a 12-hour week, with a successful 'virtual' operation meaning she can split her time between Hawkes Bay and - during the winter ski season - Wanaka. A new owner could potentially run Cinta from overseas.
The company calls on a field force of 40 interviewers, a field manager and a research analyst, all working from home, and boasts 'a diverse client portfolio and sound repeat business contracts.'
Although servicing a broad range of clients, Cinta conducts what Hudson says is 'the only operating nationwide farmer omnibus' - a quarterly survey of 800 of the nation's farmers - and a more specialist annual study of 600 dairy farmers. Also included in the offer is a database of 10,000 producers of all farm types and more than 300 key contacts in the sector.'
The company's home page is at www.cinta.co.nz .
