Munro is New CEO for Ipsos Australia
Ipsos Australia has appointed Hamish Munro as its new CEO, based in Sydney and replacing Hugh Amoyal.
Munro brings twenty years of experience including work in Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong in addition to his native Australia, with a focus on areas including brand / ad tracking and the co-ordination and analysis of large research projects.
Prior to joining Ipsos, he was CEO South East Asia and MD Singapore at TNS, responsible for the group's overall performance in SE Asia as well as for key regional client engagement and running two of the company's largest global trackers. He joined NFO in Indonesia in 1999, rising to the role of MD of Taiwan and Hong Kong before the firm's acquisition by TNS. Munro has also worked as Asia-Pacific Regional Director Technology for TNS, and for Research International as global client leader on Samsung and Senior Client Service Director Greater China.
