Affectv Secures £2m Expansion Funds
In the UK, London-based audience targeting firm Affectv has completed a £2m Series A round of funding, which it plans to use to increase its sales, engineering and operations teams, while expanding across Europe and Asia.
Launched in 2011, Affectv now maps more than three billion connections a month from more than 50 social media platforms, aiming to understand how people interact with different pieces of content. In addition, the company's proprietary 'Persona' technology enables users to predict the most relevant individuals and groups to market to.
Founder and CEO Glen Calvert (pictured) says the funding 'takes Affectv a step closer to being the best technology solution for brands in a world of multiple devices and peer-to-peer interaction.'
