RichRelevance Buys Analytics Firm Precog
Personalized shopping recommendation specialist RichRelevance has acquired Boulder, Colorado-based technology company Precog, whose platform enables companies to store, integrate and analyze large volumes of semi-structured data. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
San Francisco-based RichRelevance, which delivers personalized ads to consumers as they shop across web, store and mobile, will integrate Precog's services into its data and analytics projects. As part of the deal, Precog founder and CEO John De Goes (pictured) and his team of senior engineers have joined RichRelevance.
