Applied Analysis Acquires SalesTraq New Mexico
In the US, economic, fiscal, and policy research firm Applied Analysis has acquired Albuquerque-based real estate research company SalesTraq New Mexico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Launched in 2000, SalesTraq New Mexico supplies real estate market research and new home listing information to real estate agents, homebuilders, appraisers and investors. Last year, Applied Analysis acquired SalesTraq's operations, which included unlimited rights to the name and brand, with the exception of the operations in New Mexico. Now, through the recent acquisition, Applied Analysis has bought the remaining part of SalesTraq.
The transaction expands Applied Analysis' capabilities in the residential real estate sector, while providing access to the New Mexico residential market, and to a database of more than 10,000 floor plans in the region. Following the acquisition, SalesTraq New Mexico owner David Murphy will remain with the company for the next twelve months in a consulting capacity.
Brian Gordon, Applied Analysis Principal Analyst, comments: 'We fully intend to solidify our position as a leader in residential real estate research and to provide improved tools allowing our clients to get the information they need, when and where they need it. Beyond pure data delivery, SalesTraq also provides a unique communication channel between homebuilders, homebuyers and real estate agents. We believe that also provides a unique opportunity for growth.'
