Tealium Launches Real-Time Audience Segmentation
US web analytics specialist Tealium has launched a patent-pending platform called AudienceStream, to enable marketers to identify specific segments of their audiences in real-time.
Tealium was co-founded in 2008 by former WebSideStory execs Mike Anderson and Ali Behnam. (WebSideStory changed its name to Visual Sciences, was then acquired by Omniture and is now part of Adobe).
The new product builds on the firm's core tag management offering, to enable marketers to define and create 'on-the-fly' segments from their most relevant audiences. These segments are then linked with customer behavior data across web and mobile channels for potential use in e-mail, multi-channel messaging, CRM, data management, and business intelligence campaigns and programs.
