Focus Pointe Buys Delve
Data collection firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has acquired St Louis-based full service agency Delve from owner Bush O'Donnell Capital Partners, creating what it says is the 'largest focus group facilities company in the US'. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
FPG, which was founded in 1988, offers focus group qual, with ten facilities located throughout the US and field capabilities in 'all' US cities, while Delve also has ten research testing facilities across the US, and employs 400 part-time and 70 full-time staff.
Last year, FPG received an undisclosed amount of funding, which it said would be used for future acquisitions. Through this acquisition of Delve, FPG says it can now offer an enhanced suite of qual and quant services, along with an expanded geographic reach.
Following the acquisition, the management team will continue to be led by FPG's President Laura Livers and Chief Exec Noel Sitzmann, with Delve's CEO Tim Sauer heading up the combined company's Business Development and Sales & Marketing divisions.
Sitzmann comments: 'This is an exciting time for both companies. The combined service offerings and talent that Focus Pointe Global and Delve now bring to the marketing research industry is unprecedented. This transaction is all about meeting the expanding needs of our customers.'
