Former Ypulse GM Joins Music TV Network

In the US, multi-platform music network REVOLT TV has appointed youth culture specialist Jake Katz as Vice President of Audience Insights and Strategy, with a remit to help brands focus on understanding the millennial generation.

Jake KatzREVOLT TV, which is set to launch this coming Monday, October 21st on Comcast and Time Warner Cable across New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, will focus on the 'best of the best' in rock, EDM, hip-hop and others.

Katz (pictured) joins from youth market research firm Ypulse, where as General Manager he was charged with transforming the firm through the creation of new products and services aimed at analyzing the millennial demographic. Prior to this, he set up NBCUniversal's Trend Consulting division, and he worked at MTV as Manager, Insights Innovation.
