FieldGlobal Opens in New York, Plans Further Expansion

Full service agency FieldGlobal has opened an office in Manhattan, New York, where it has appointed former Harris Interactive exec Bob Romano as Vice President - Business Development. The company has also announced plans to open offices in Chicago, and in the UK, Japan and Brazil.

Formerly known as Universal Research, the company already has locations in India, the UAE, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and the US.

Romano (pictured) joins after nearly eight years at Harris Interactive, most recently as Senior Field Services Manager. During his career, he has also held senior roles at Gazelle International, KRC Research, Barry Leeds & Associates, The NPD Group and AHF Marketing Research.

In his new role, Romano is tasked with helping the company 'better understand' US clients who want to conduct research and fieldwork across the US, Asia and Middle East markets.

President & CEO Sundeep Solannki says Romano 'brings relevant and remarkable experience and has an excellent track record of addressing the underlying business issues of his clients.'
