Mobile App Analytics Startup Appsee Raises $1m
Israeli visual in-app analytics startup Appsee has raised $1m to launch its iOS platform, which automatically measures mobile app user experience.
Tel Aviv-based Appsee (previously known as UserVOD) was founded last year by CEO Zahi Boussiba and CTO Yoni Douek. Their platform has been designed to enable companies to insert a single line of code into their mobile apps, in order to measure, understand, and improve user experience. The service offers heatmaps which show where users touched each screen, as well as recordings of each session to see the actual behavior that is attracting a user's interest.
In addition, developers can access Appsee's online dashboard, through which they can analyze aggregated sessions or focus on a single user's experience. All sessions are tracked and can be filtered across multiple variables.
New funding comes from Giza Venture Capital and a group of private investors: Moshe Lichtman, Yuval Baharav, Yehuda Doron, Rafi Gidron and Eran Ilan.
