comScore Posts Reduced Q3 Loss
Digital measurement specialist comScore has reported a 14% increase in quarterly revenue to $71.6m from $64.3m in the prior year period, while net loss dropped to $82k from $3.1m a year earlier.
On a pro forma basis, which excludes the firm's non-health copy testing and Configuration Manager products, the company's subscription revenue increased 19.3% to $62.5m, while project revenue fell 12.5% to $9.1m. During the period, revenue from existing customers rose 13.8% to $64.5m, new customer revenue was up 16.4% to $7.1m, and international revenue jumped 25.3% to $21.3m.

Looking ahead, we are focused on the fastest growing areas of digital analytics, including multimedia and cross-media measurement products, and expect to sustain strong momentum across our business and improve margin leverage from our scalable, high revenue visibility SAAS business model.'
comScore is forecasting fourth quarter revenue of between $73.5m and $77.5m.
