New Healthcare Appointment at TNS
Stephen Potts has recently been named as Regional Director of TNS Healthcare in Asia Pacific. Stephen joined TNS on 22 July from Asia Market Intelligence (AMI) where he was Director of Healthcare for South East Asia.
Based in Singapore, Stephen will be responsible for developing TNS' healthcare business and expertise in Asia Pacific on a country and regional level. This is a new position created to support the international growth of TNS Healthcare.
Stephen has specialised in healthcare market research for the past eight years, the last two years spent in Asia. He has worked in most therapy areas during his career, with his key areas of interest being asthma, anti-infectives, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, GI disorders, hypercholesterolaemia, osteoporosis, pain management and psychiatric disorders.
Meanwhile, Rob Rowley has been appointed by the board of Taylor Nelson Sofres as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 September this year. Mr Rowley was Finance Director of Reuters Group PLC from 1990 to 2000, when he became Chief Executive of Reuterspace. He left Reuters in 2001, having spent 22 years with the company. He is currently a non-executive director of Prudential plc and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony Cowling, Chairman of Taylor Nelson Sofres, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Rob to the board as an additional non-executive director. He brings with him significant business and finance experience, together with a broad understanding of the information industry, all of which are highly relevant to our operations.'
