Sperring Takes Senior Ops Role at Revelation

US-based research tool developer Revelation Global has appointed former GfK Healthcare exec Jeff Sperring as Vice President of Business Operations.

Portland, Oregon-based Revelation develops qual research software for web and mobile platforms, and last year launched a text visualization and visual search tool called Word Trees, to avoid the need for users to export data to another tool in order to conduct content analysis.

Sperring (pictured) joins after a decade at GfK Healthcare, where he latterly served as SVP Research Services, in charge of people management, strategic direction, process improvements, P&L and technology enhancements. Earlier, he was EVP, Operations at M/A/R/C Research. Sperring began his career at the chemical manufacturing arm of Bayer, where he worked for thirteen years and held various positions in information systems and production.

In a statement, Revelation said Sperring's organizational skills and experience will help take the company to 'the next level.'
