New MD for Cobalt Sky as Khan Moves to Chairman
In London, research technology firm Cobalt Sky has promoted Mike Wooderson to the role of Managing Director, replacing Raz Khan who becomes Chairman of the company.
Putney-based Cobalt Sky - originally known as ATP - has provided software and analytic services and solutions to the research industry since 1989. The company, which now has 32 employees, handles all IT related aspects of a survey - from setting up the online questionnaire, sourcing the sample, producing tables and charts, and hosting the results in its interactive portal.
Wooderson joined in 1990, and for the past ten years has served as Deputy MD. He previously held DP roles at TNS and Quantime.
Commenting on the move, Khan said: 'Mike has been an invaluable member of Cobalt Sky for many years, and an excellent second in command as we've developed as a company. I can think of no better person than Mike to take the company forward, supported by our excellent management team.'
In addition to his new role, Khan will continue as Honorary Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of the MRS, and Treasurer of the Association for Survey Computing.
