Integral Ad Science Raises $30m
Advertising intelligence specialist Integral Ad Science has raised $30m in a Series D round of funding, led by August Capital and with participation from existing investors Atlas Venture and Pelion Venture Partners.
Integral - previously known as AdSafe - is headquartered in New York with operations in San Francisco, London, Tokyo and Sydney. The company evaluates web sites, giving them a TRAQ Score (True Advertising Quality), and its services include real-time, impression-level fraud detection and prevention solutions. In November, the firm achieved Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation for its online ad viewability product, which is used by Nielsen as part of its Online Campaign Ratings (OCR).
The firm's latest funding was first disclosed in a regulatory filing, and has been confirmed by CEO Scott Knoll (pictured). Integral previously raised $17.3m from Atlas and Pelion, together with Founder Collective and Coriolis Ventures.
