Child to Lead Join the Dots' New Learning Centre
Manchester, UK-based consumer insight agency Join the Dots has promoted Research Operations Director Paul Child to the role of Talent Director, responsible for the management, promotion and direction of its newly established in-house learning centre, the 'dotacademy'.
Join the Dots, which was previously known as Virtual Surveys, was founded in 1998 by former RI Director Pete Comley. The firm, which initially pioneered web site research in Europe, now also provides advertising, customer experience, product and service optimisation, and online communities.
Child (pictured) joined in 2008, after senior roles at Harris Interactive, NOP World and Research International. His new role includes leading a range of training and development activities including the firm's graduate development programme.
Commenting on the launch of the new initiative, MD Quentin Ashby says: 'This is an exciting step in our on-going commitment to the development of the very talented staff we already have in our business and to those we recruit as we grow. The introduction of dotacademy will mean we can ensure our clients work with fantastic people well equipped to help them face the challenges ahead.'
