Mercury Hires Pollsters Fabrizio and Ward
Public policy consultant Mercury has appointed polling experts Tony Fabrizio and Bob Ward to lead its corporate polling operation, based in its Florida and Washington DC offices.
The Omnicom subsidiary provides state and federal government relations, polling and survey research, digital communications, media strategy, and a bipartisan mobilization network across all 50 states. The company also has offices in New York, New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
The two new appointees are the founding partners of opinion research firm Fabrizio Ward, and join with a background of leading polling operations for presidential and political campaigns, trade groups, NGOs and corporates. Fabrizio previously served as Chief Pollster for Senator Bob Dole's 1996 Presidential campaign, and as a pollster for the Republican National Committee and dozens of past and present Republican congressmen and governors. Ward led the GfK Roper Issues Management research division, was Director of Strategic Information for the Republican National Committee, and was Senior Project Director at polling firm Public Opinion Strategies.
Mercury's CEO Kieran Mahoney comments: 'Tony Fabrizio and Bob Ward are among the most highly regarded pollsters in our business. Their world-class experience offers clients the best in corporate polling, research and analysis. Tony and Bob clearly strengthen our comprehensive suite of services at Mercury.'
Fabrizio Ward continues to operate under the pair's leadership, while they take on the new roles with Mercury.
