Pharma Research Firm Launched in Frankfurt

Pharma researcher Thomas Gleissner has set up a new agency called Research Excellence, in Frankfurt, offering customized market research services to clients in the pharmaceutical, medical technology, and medical device sectors.

Gleissner (pictured) previously worked as a director at medical and healthcare specialist Adelphi Germany, prior to which he was a Partner at pharma MR firm Consilium & Co, and a Project Manager at GP panel company GPI Kommunikationsforschung.

His new company offers both full service and ad hoc market research across all major therapy areas, using CATI, CAPI and other face-to-face data collection, online communities and focus groups, ethnographic techniques and observation. It also specialises in usability research for medical device developers.

Research Excellence will tap into a network of consultants including market access specialist Werner Palancares Hoyer, who has more than sixteen years' management experience in pharma market research.
