Populus Starts Up London Omnibus
UK-based research and consulting firm Populus has launched a London Omnibus, to enable clients to tap into the attitudes and opinions of Londoners on a variety of issues such as transport and tourism, housing, cost of living, politics and wellbeing.
Founded in 2003 by former Tory party staff Michael Simmonds, Andrew Cooper and Rick Nye, the firm is best known for its work in polling and political research. The new omnibus is conducted online with a sample of 1,000 adults aged 18+ in the Greater London area, and their responses can be used to test the appeal of new products, measure the success of PR activities, and understand political preferences.
Research Director Chris Menzies (pictured) comments: 'The London Omnibus responds to client demand for an affordable and methodologically robust sample of people in the capital. Populus is committed to providing clients with the critical knowledge they need to succeed and services such as the London Omnibus are integral to this commitment.'
