PRIME Research Hires Bagnall as UK CEO
Research-based PR consultancy PRIME Research has hired Richard Bagnall for its newly created role of Chief Executive Officer in the UK and SVP of PRIME Research Europe. Bagnall will focus on developing the firm's business domestically and throughout the world.
PRIME employs more than 500 staff in nine specialist research centers in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, providing constant monitoring, analysis and consultancy on communication trends across more than 35 markets around the globe.
Bagnall (pictured) joins the firm's Oxford office with more than eighteen years' experience advising clients on the best ways to measure the effectiveness of PR. He was the founding director of international insights business Metrica, set up in the 1990s and sold to media intelligence specialist Goran in 2009; and then worked there for a further four years as MD in the firm's Global Media Insights division. Before his career in PR measurement and insights, Bagnall worked in PR; both in-house for medical charity the Royal College of General Practitioners, and also for Saatchi and Saatchi's PR business, The Rowland Company.
In addition, he is a Board Director of AMEC (the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communications), chairing its social media measurement committee; and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) social media panel, leading its work on social media measurement.
Dr. Rainer Mathes, founder and Chairman of the PRIME Research Group, comments: 'With a strong international network and invaluable research expertise, Richard will contribute greatly to PRIME's success as a global provider of technologically-enabled research-based public relations consulting.'
