Lotame Buys AdMobius for Cross-Device Targeting
Data management specialist Lotame has announced the acquisition of mobile audience management platform AdMobius, for an undisclosed amount.
AdMobius, which helps clients target large cross-device audiences using standard, custom and private audience segments, was founded just in 2012 and is based in San Mateo, California. With the buy, Lotame gets an experienced data science and technology team and a strong lead into the mobile ad-tech ecosystem through existing partnerships. Lotame says as a 'privacy progressive' company it will continue to ensure consumer privacy across devices and provide an easy way for consumers to opt out of interest-based ads.
Lotame founder and CEO Andy Monfried (pictured) says the buy 'will empower our clients to engage with unique and relevant consumer audience segments across devices at a deeper, more accurate level than ever before'. Ray Duong, CTO of AdMobius, comments: 'Together, Lotame and AdMobius will be offering an unparalleled platform for both marketers and publishers to discover and target relevant audiences across devices.'
