Focus Pointe Global Expands Online Offer
US data collection firm Focus Pointe Global has expanded its online division Focus Pointe Online, led by MD of Online Research Wally Balden.
Focus Pointe, which was founded in 1988, offers focus group qual, with ten facilities located throughout the US and field capabilities in 'all' US cities. Last year, the firm acquired St Louis-based full service agency Delve from owner Bush O'Donnell Capital Partners, to create what it says is the 'largest focus group facilities company in the US'.
Through the acquisition, Focus Pointe has combined both companies' online services, to provide a 'complete suite' of qualitative and quantitative online research solutions, driven by its proprietary respondent panel that boasts 1.4 million members. The enlarged unit will now offer online communities, webcam interviews and focus groups, quant-to-qual methodologies, online surveys, sampling, programming and hosting.
Balden (pictured), comments: 'The combination of the two companies puts us in a unique position to address all of our clients' online research needs. We can truly be a one-stop shop for sample, online quantitative and online survey programming and hosting. Plus, our clients benefit from the tremendous pool of experience and expertise that exists company-wide.'
