Four from uSamp Join Dusig and Lavin's New Firm
Sample industry pioneers Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin have announced that former uSamp exec George Llorens has joined them as co-founder of their new online and mobile sampling and data collection business Innovate. The team has also appointed three further former uSamp colleagues.
uSamp founders Dusig and Lavin launched Innovate last month, promising clients the ability to 'pinpoint' global panelists on demand and deliver sample via connected APIs. The duo set up uSamp in 2008, after selling their previous firm goZing to Greenfield Online three years earlier in a $30m cash deal.
Llorens (pictured) worked at uSamp for the past two years, and most recently served as EVP of Global Sales. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Survey Solutions, mPOINT, and at Greenfield Online prior to its sale to Microsoft.
Commenting on the news, Dusig said: 'George brings global expertise and strategic leadership to the sales team. We are excited to add someone of George's caliber which validates our commitment to building a client-centric business.'
Former uSamp execs Kris Tarbet, Dave Gaston and Jason Poyser also join Innovate. Tarbet and Gaston will have overall responsibility for US east and west coast sales. Tarbet and Poyser will be based in the Los Angeles office, while Gaston will be based in Charlotte, NC.
Lavin adds: 'These key new hires all have experience successfully servicing market research accounts from small to large on a global basis. We are thrilled to add them to this newly formed Innovate dream team.'
