Firefish Rolls Out The Pineapple Lounge Stateside
Firefish's specialist children and families research consultancy The Pineapple Lounge (TPL) has launched in the US, where it has appointed children's industry expert Cheryl Gotthelf as Managing Director.
The London-based qual agency opened TPL in 2011, to offer strategy and consultancy to kids and families brands, including research, market analysis and trend forecasting.
Gotthelf (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' experience of building children's brands across multiple platforms. Most recently, she ran her own consultancy offering advice on children and family brand marketing. Prior to this, she served as SVP Global Brand Management at media licensing firm Chorion, where she helped launch children's brands across TV, web, consumer products and publishing properties. Earlier, she launched children's TV program franchise Scholastic Media, led marketing and public affairs for children's TV channel Noggin, and was VP of the Schools Division of Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind TV series Sesame Street.
