AudienceScience Hires AOL's Hochberg
In New York, behavioral targeting and data management firm AudienceScience has hired AOL's former VP of Audience Targeting Sales Jeff Hochberg, as Vice President of Business Development.
Formerly known as RevenueScience, the company offers the Audience Gateway technology platform and a targeting marketplace, recording billions of 'behavioral events' daily from more than 386 million unique Internet users, and serving targeted ads in real-time.
Hochberg (pictured) joins after fourteen years with AOL/Advertising.com, where he latterly served as VP, Audience Targeting Sales, managing a team of national product sales specialists, and overseeing all audience targeting and data products. Earlier, he was Regional VP, in charge of a team of more than 30 sales and account managers in the Northeast region, prior to which he was Regional Sales Director, managing three regional sales teams. He began his career at Organic Online and Grey Design and Promotion.
In his new role, Hochberg will lead the firm's global data and media inventory partnerships, while also overseeing AudienceScience's publisher and data partner framework.
Mike Peralta, CEO of AudienceScience, comments: 'Our advertisers are increasingly bringing their ad buying technology in-house, and we want to ensure that they're able to leverage the best inventory and data partners when they work with AudienceScience. Jeff brings deep experience on the publisher and agency sides, so his perspective will be valuable in helping us evaluate the best partners for brand advertisers.'
