Geolocation Platform LiveDeal Buys DealTicker
Geo-location focused mobile marketing platform LiveDeal, which enables restaurants to publish real-time instant offers to nearby consumers, has acquired discounted retail products and services platform DealTicker. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LiveDeal offers a platform which uses geolocation technology to enable restaurants to segment special offers by location and deliver them to relevant consumers based nearby. As part of the transaction, LiveDeal will expand into the retail goods and services sector, while extending its own restaurant deal engine in the US and Canada.
