New CEO at Ipsos
Henri Wallard has been appointed as Ipsos CEO, managing market research activities for the agency in the services sectors, as well as having direct responsibility for Ipsos CRM /CSM (Customer Relationship Management/Customer Satisfaction Measurement) activities worldwide.
He will be member of the Group's Management Board and his appointment as Director will be proposed at the next meeting of company shareholders. 'With Henri Wallard, Ipsos extends both the depth and diversification of its management team. Henri is one of the most highly regarded professionals in market research, and his scientific and professional background, as well as his knowledge of the Asia-Pacific markets will be precious assets in the growth of Ipsos for years to come', commented Jean-Marc Lech, co-president of Ipsos. Mr Wallard joined the Sofres market research group in 1994 and spent several years in the Asia Pacific region (based in Sydney and later Hong-Kong) as Group Director for Asia. When Sofres merged with Taylor Nelson AGB in 1997, he was appointed to the board of the UK based Taylor Nelson Sofres group and made Executive Director in charge of Regional business (America, Europe, Asia). He also played a leading role in the growth of online activities and techniques. He joined the Fimalac group at the beginning of 2001 as CEO of Fimalac Interactive.
