WibiRetail Shopper Personalization Launched
Online behavioral analysis firm WibiData has launched a new platform called WibiRetail, to enable retailers to personalize 'every' interaction with their customers in real-time.
San Francisco-based WibiData was founded in 2010 by former Google engineers Christophe Bisciglia and Aaron Kimball, to help clients manage and analyze user data such as e-mails and web histories, and enable them to predict how consumers will interact with their products.
The new WibiRetail tool allows users to import customer data, product order history, web analytics, social media and other data from existing sources and add it to behavioural info from web sites, tablets, mobile apps and in-store kiosks, for use in real-time personalization. It also offers predictive models based on what customers have previously viewed or purchased.
CTO Garrett Wu (pictured) comments: 'Retailers are no longer competing against just themselves, but also against the experiences that consumers have grown to love from Google, Facebook and Twitter. We built WibiRetail to empower retailers to move beyond stale batch analysis and segmentation and into the era of experimentation, big data and real-time machine learning for true one-to-one experiences with their customers.'
