CMI Launches yPrescribe Physician Probe
US full service agency CMI has launched a tool called yPrescribe, to help users understand why physicians are prescribing one brand over another, and whether specific brands are even being considered.
yPrescribe uses a patient profile generator to reflect those characteristics that offer cues for prescribing decisions. CMI claims that its new solution then identifies how a pharmaceutical manufacturer can influence a physician's usual prescription path to ensure their brand is chosen more often.
Company President Chet Zalesky comments: 'Due to restrictions on time, along with other factors, most physicians make prescribing decisions in less than five minutes. yPrescribe is the first integrated approach which gets at the what, how and why all in one study.'
