Tonic Promotes Wills to UK MD
Tonic Insight has promoted Anna Wills to the role of Managing Director UK, and Lucie Holliday to that of Group Director, Research & Innovation.
London-based Tonic was formed recently from the merger of consumer-focused Spring Research and its online communities specialist Tuned In Research. The latter, launched as Spring Research's youth division in 2006, opened an office in New York last year.
Willis joined Spring in 2010, having previously worked as a Planner at Britvic Soft Drinks, at Spring's sister agency Mesh Planning, and at Hall & Partners and Millward Brown. Most recently, she was Tonic's Head of Client Services, overseeing the merger of Spring and Tuned In.
CEO Steve Phillips comments: 'Anna has kept everything running smoothly during a very busy period for us. She is an inspiration to me and having done the first stage of the job, I'm delighted to announce she has now been promoted to UK MD.'
Holliday joined the firm in 2007, after working as a Research Manager at youth charity YouthNet, and as a Research Analyst at NWC Research. Phillips adds: 'Tonic is investing heavily in innovation right now, including the soon to be released Slimline Tonic app and several other key innovation streams that we are working on. We needed some more dedicated resource and so Lucie is heading up the Innovations role.'
