US-based social media analytics specialist newBrandAnalytics (nBA) has introduced a cloud-based tool called Pulse, to provide clients with minute-by-minute real-time data on trending topics and conversations that impact their brand and product perception.

Kristin MuhlnernBA develops proprietary software and solutions which extract targeted insights from unstructured social media and survey data. The company serves clients across the retail, food and beverage, hospitality, entertainment, healthcare, and government sectors, and its flagship product 'Social Guest Satisfaction' tracks guest satisfaction comments posted on social media, pulling out problems and complaints.

Newly launched Pulse provides a social listening platform through which marketers can gather individual comments and conversations, understand trends, and react in real-time. Through the solution, automatic alerts can be sent to identify potential crisis or positive social media conversations before they go viral. In addition, the tool can be used to pinpoint trends and identify volume spikes.
