Former GfK Execs Launch Healthcare MR Agency Exevia
In Germany, four former senior GfK execs have founded Exevia, a new healthcare market research agency based in Nuremberg. The four are Norbert Schell, Ulrik Scheuermann, Andrea Gock and Roland Herterich.
Schell, who joined GfK in 1996, most recently served as Head of the Pharma and Medical Technology division, in charge of a team of more than 45 staff. Scheuermann worked for GfK for thirteen years - latterly as Divisional Manager for the Dental Market - prior to which he was Head of Market Research at 3M Healthcare. Gock, a trained psychologist, previously held senior marketing and research positions at GfK Healthcare, where she worked for five years; and Herterich spent seven years at GfK, latterly as Global Lead, Product Portfolio Health, having previously served as MD of Bionorica, and Senior Director of Global Commercialization at Pfizer.
The team will offer a full range of national and international qual and quant services, using 'all' data collection methods including mobile, social media, web-based, desk research and syndicated approaches. These will address issues throughout the product lifecycle, such as entering new markets, product and concept development, brand positioning and pricing.
In a statement, the team said: 'We want to build a long-term cooperation with our clients that relies on trust and mutual respect. Our individual and flexible study designs answer the unique needs and goals of our clients.'
