WCG Buys Media and Analytics Agency JubaPlus
New York-based media and comms company Water Cooler Group (WCG) has acquired digital media and analytics agency JubaPlus. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
JubaPlus offers a range of strategy and analytics services covering digital, social media and CRM, including web analytics and social media listening. With the acquisition, WCG has launched a standalone Technology and Advanced Analytics division, whose offer will include segmentation and predictive modelling; campaign and audience measurement; and audience targeting.
The division will be led by JubaPlus founder Yoram Greener (pictured), who becomes WCG's MD of Analytics and Modeling. Greener served spells as Head of Analytics at Big Fuel Communications, Senior Director of Merkle's Enterprise Strategy Group, and MD of Analytical Solutions for MBS Insights, before setting up JubaPlus in 2010.
He comments: 'Water Cooler Group and JubaPlus share a common mission in maximizing client ROI. Through JubaPlus' proprietary technology and practices, we will now be able to monetize client data assets by simplifying big data environments into 'small data' actions to best manage a brand's customers and prospect portfolios.'
