Nielsen Expands Coverage to Bolivia and Paraguay
Nielsen has expanded its coverage to two new countries, Bolivia and Paraguay, and now has operations in nineteen Latin American states.
John Lewis, the company's President, Americas, says Nielsen completed an extensive research and audit process to understand the unique characteristics and opportunities for consumer measurement in the two countries. Initially, it will enter these markets with retail measurement of non-alcoholic beverages, and it plans to expand into new industries and solutions in 2015.
Lewis adds: 'This expansion adds nearly seventeen million Latin American consumers to our regional and global support and analysis for clients. This new coverage area strengthens our presence in the region and our ability to offer our clients an increasingly comprehensive view of what drives the Latin American market and its consumers.'
