YouthSight Names Leader for Higher Education Research
In London, research firm YouthSight has appointed James MacGregor as Director of Higher Education Research, responsible for developing new business, new products, project delivery, and representing the firm on Higher Education issues.
Formerly known as OpinionPanel, Shoreditch-based YouthSight offers research among the youth, student and young professional sectors, runs the 124,000-strong OpinionPanel community and last year spun off its co-creation tool Bright Young Minds into a separate business.
MacGregor (pictured) joins from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he served as Head of Market Strategy for the past four years. He joined the college in 2010 as Head of Market Intelligence, having previously held the same title at EdComms, and served as a Senior Researcher at think tank New Local Government Network (NLGN).
YouthSight MD Ben Marks comments: 'James has struck me as having some of the brightest thinking on HE marketing and research in the sector so it's wonderful he's now part of the team. The next few years will see more unprecedented change for universities, and I look forward to James's team offering clients high-quality, evidence-based insights in new areas.'
