Guavus Raises $20m in New Funding Round
In the US, telecoms sector big data analytics specialist Guavus has raised $20m in a round of funding which it will use to further develop its operational intelligence platform and its suite of apps for network, marketing, customer care and security clients.
Founded in 2006 and based in San Mateo, CA, Guavus focuses on helping telecoms companies make sense of their streams of network data. Its solutions include the Guavus Reflex platform, which displays insights through graphical dashboards, and allows users to output data into a PDF, XML or CSV file format for further analysis on other platforms.
New funding has been led by Artiman Ventures, Sofinnova Ventures, Intel Capital, SingTel Innov8, Investor Growth Capital, QuestMark Partners, TransLink Capital and Goldman Sachs, and brings the total raised to date to $107m, which includes rounds of $30m and $9m last year.
