M-Brain Buys Global Intelligence Alliance
In Finland, competitive intelligence company M-Brain has purchased marketing intelligence and advisory group Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) from investment firm CapMan and a group of GIA's management and shareholders. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
M-Brain offers a combination of proprietary big data technology and consultancy, while GIA provides customized solutions ranging from outsourced market monitoring services and software, to strategic analysis and advisory services.
The two firms' solutions will now be merged, and the combined entity will have offices in twelve countries with approximately 450 employees. M-Brain's Executive Chairman Kim Nyberg says the deal will strengthen his firm's international position, particularly in Asia and the Americas, as well as in Europe and the Nordics.
