Data and Insights Firm Cogensia Hires Eight
In Chicago, data and insights-driven marketing and predictive modelling consultancy Cogensia has appointed eight new members of staff.
The firm helps clients with digital advertising, online and off-line CRM, real-time predictive modeling, data management, statistical modelling and customer segmentation services.
Two of the hires are client facing. Mindi Barber joins as an Account Manager, having previously worked on Social CRM campaigns for Hyundai Motor America, and also spent four years at Harte-Hanks; and Ina Rajewski becomes an Account Coordinator, after five years at Experian as an Account Manager and Marketing Services Account Director.
Thomas Schar takes up the role of Director, Information Technology with experience in back-end programming, relational databases and development/maintenance of complex and critical systems, including most recently in HIPAA/HITECH security. David Nomo joins as a Senior Developer, bringing more than ten years of IT software engineering and programming experience with an emphasis on back-end database manipulation.
The firm has also appointed three new Senior Analysts - Bryan Endres whose experience includes using platforms such as Hadoop, Python, Tableau, JavaScript, SQL, and SAS; Shan Jiang who previously worked at Sears Holding as an Online Merchandiser; and Sandeep Yarradoddi who recently graduated with a Master of Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, where he worked as a Statistics Research Assistant in Data Mining. In addition, Angus Yang joins the firm as an Analyst, from the United States Air Force where he was a Weather Analyst.
