LivingLens Raises Expansion Funds
Liverpool, UK-based video analysis specialist LivingLens has raised £206k in follow-up seed funding from a range of angel investors, and plans to use the money to expand its technology and sales capability, and to move into new offices in London.
LivingLens, which was launched by Curiosity Insight founder Carl Wong and retail sector specialist David Woods, offers a mobile app platform through which clients can tap into feedback gathered from consumer videos shot on their mobile devices. Its software allows users to capture, edit and share consumer videos, and intelligently search every spoken word captured in any video, in any language.
The firm's latest funding was led by start-up investment firm Collider, which also led LivingLens' initial £60k seed founding round in February. Also participating in the latest round were several marketers including former Unilever execs Ralph Kugler and Andy Porteous, former Added Value CEOs Mark Sherrington and Fiona McAnena; former Iris Worldwide MD Simon Porter, former Now Inc. CEO Patrick Meyer, and Collider CEO Rose Lewis.
