Facts Wins Inaugural MRS Field Force Award
In the UK, Chime Communications-owned Facts International has won the Best Field Force category in the newly launched Market Research Society (MRS) Operations Awards, announced at a party in the McQueen bar in London's Shoreditch last night.
Penny Steel, Chair of the Operations Awards judging panels, described the operations side of the market research industry as 'long overlooked'. Commenting on the winner of the Best Field Force award, the judges said: 'Facts International's commitment to providing excellent ongoing training and development programmes for all interviewing staff clearly underlines one of the key values of this company. This was endorsed by testimonials from very loyal and positive staff as well as highly satisfied clients.'
Facts International Field Director Adam Wyles (pictured) added: 'This accolade is testament to the hard work and efforts of our field force and I'm absolutely delighted to have got this far.'
The Best Support Services award went to Spectrum Viewing Facilities, which the judges said had demonstrated how the firm goes 'the extra mile' to provide exceptional support to the research sector.
Winner of the Data Collection category was awarded to YouthSight for 'leading the way in making market research questionnaires appeal to respondents', and using technology that enables deployment of the interviewing in an 'appealing format', regardless of the respondent's device.
Finally, the 'Operational Excellence' prize was given to Cobalt Sky for 'providing quality IT operations services to the market research industry'.
