Pat McDonough to Leave Nielsen after 44 Years
Media researcher Pat McDonough is to retire from Nielsen at the end of 2014, after 44 years with the company.
McDonough (pictured) currently serves as SVP, Planning Policy and Analysis, working with all of Nielsen's television audience measurement clients across the US. During her years with the firm, she has supported Watch clients on both the national and local areas of the business, including broadcast network, cable network, station and cable MSOs. She has also worked with Nielsen Online and Mobile Digital clients.
In a memo to clients, US Media President Lynda Clarizio described McDonough as 'one of the industry's best thinkers'. Nielsen has not yet named a successor.
