Informa's US CEO to Retire
Business information and events group Informa has announced that Kenneth Bohlin is to retire from his role as President & CEO of Informa Financial Information (IFI) and Informa USA at the end of the year.
Informa has more than 6,000 employs working in over 100 offices in 25 countries. Its Business Intelligence division includes online database and analysis firm Datamonitor, while the IFI division offers real-time news, data and analysis across a number of financial markets.
Bohlin joined the company thirty years ago, and has served as CEO of IFI since its launch in 1987. Under the new group operating structure, effective from 1st January 2015, all of Bohlin's responsibilities for the IFI businesses will transfer to Patrick Martell, who was recently appointed Chief Executive of Informa's Business Intelligence Division, having previously served as CEO of UK marketing services and print group St. Ives Plc.
