Emerging Tech Specialist Targets Asian Growth

Cambridge, UK-based emerging technologies researcher IDTechEx has appointed Mr. Yasuo Yamamoto as Head of Business Development in Japan.

Yamamoto (pictured) brings experience from senior positions at DuPont, TDK and Shoie Chemical, covering a spectrum of commercialization activities from R&D and manufacturing, to regional sales and business development.

Founded in 1999, the firm provides Independent market research and business intelligence on emerging technology, including 3D printing, RFID, flexible and wearable technology, energy storage & harvesting and hybrid and electric vehicles. It also organises events. Other offices are in Boston, USA and Berlin, Germany, as well as the regional office in Japan.
