Enfoque Pesquisa in Partnership with GMI

Brazilian agency Enfoque Pesquisa has opened an in-house call centre in Rio de Janeiro using state of the art technology from GMI ideally suited for conducting cross-border research studies.

Workstations use GMI's Net-CATI system as the base platform for management of all telephone interviews. Net-CATI integrates all of the seats, regardless of location, to work as one virtual call center with shared sample, shared quotas and central reporting. Field manager, project analysts and the end client are able to follow progress, from anywhere at any time via Internet. The system also provides real time reporting on operator performance, dialling activity. call lengths, disposition codes and quota progress reports.

According to Zilda Knoploch, Enfoque's CEO, 'Enfoque has a commitment with its market of innovation with quality. GMI has stood by our side, with creativity and quick responses. We are very enthusiastic about the added value that this technology will represent in our operation.'

Rob Monster, GMI CEO added: 'Enfoque is the second major Brazilian research firm to adopt Net-CATI and Enfoque was among the first Brazilian members of our growing client list in Brazil. We are very optimistic about Net-CATI for Brazil.'

The relatively low penetration of Internet amongst the general population in Brazil makes Net-CATI an excellent fit for mixed-mode research capability, enabling quotas to be filled concurrently from either shared sample, or mode-specific sample sources.
