Maritz to Buy Software Firm and Create MaritzCX
Maritz is to acquire customer and employee feedback software provider Allegiance, which it will combine with Maritz Research to create a new company called MaritzCX, with more than 900 employees in eighteen offices worldwide. Terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed.
Jordan, UT-based Allegiance's customer experience (CX) Engage platform enables companies to listen to the voice of their customers (VoC), analyse customer data alongside operational data, and share insights with decision makers across an organization. The system collects feedback across multiple channels - e-mail, web, print, phone - and accumulate those responses in a central database for analysis.
Once formed, new firm MaritzCX will combine Maritz Research's CX consulting, marketing science and research consulting expertise, with Allegiance's CX software and programme services. It will be led by Allegiance CEO Carine Clark (pictured) who will be named as CEO of MaritzCX.
Stephan Thun, CEO of MaritzCX Europe, comments: 'Maritz has been a prominent name in research and is the leader in the customer experience industry for nearly 40 years. MaritzCX is a very exciting next logical step, adding award winning CX software to our industry expertise and advanced analytics - to help our clients drive profitable growth through a high degree of customer centricity.'
