CMR/TNS Media Intelligence Change In Leadership

CMR/TNS Media Intelligence has announced the appointment of Steven J. Fredericks as President and CEO, taking over the position previously held by David Peeler.

'We are very excited about Steve's appointment and believe the energy and ideas he brings will continue CMR/TNS' success in the media and marketing community,' said Jean-Michel Portier, chairman, CMR/TNS Media Intelligence. 'This change in management will strengthen CMR/TNS' continued commitment to the industry, the strength of its brand and the value proposition it holds in the marketplace.'

In Mr. Fredericks' role as President and CEO, effective forthwith, he will oversee CMR/ TNS Media Intelligence along with its divisions: Marx, Evaliant, TES, TNSSPORT and Precision Marketing Services.

Mr. Fredericks comes to CMR/TNS Media Intelligence with more than 25 years of experience. Most recently, he served as CEO and President of JASSNet, the Internet Program Guide (previously known as Yack, Inc.). He also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing and Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business and as President and CFO of Internetstudios.com, Inc.

Mr. Fredericks has held a series of top management positions at Digital Domain, Inc. where under his guidance, Digital Domain was named the fastest growing company in California and emerged as the leading digital studio in the world - receiving two consecutive Academy Awards for special visual effects. His experience also includes more than 16 years at IBM, where he oversaw all M&A activity in the entertainment and media industry segments.
