Civicom Upgrades Online Community Platform
In the US, Civicom Marketing Research has added analytics tools to its online community platform Chatterbox, to help researchers speed up the data interpretation process.
Founded in 2000 by marketer David West (pictured), Civicom offers telephone and web-enabled in-depth interviews and focus groups through its CyberFacility; mobile qual research and mobile surveys through its InSitu tool; and user-generated content collection for mystery shoppers through its ShopTalk solution.
The flagship Chatterbox tool enables researchers to connect with and manage study participants, and control the flow of discussions. Using the tool, focus groups can be conducted through an online bulletin board which can be personalized with video messages and other multimedia content. The latest edition enables researchers to browse visual overviews and track responses in real-time, while project managers and moderators can observe the individual responses of all project participants, run charts and graphs that summarize the findings on each question or activity, and aggregate data to show the combined responses of all participants to specific tasks.
