GfK Hires Llewellyn as UK Head of Shopper
GfK has appointed former Nielsen exec James Llewellyn as UK Head of Shopper.
Llewellyn (pictured) joins after four years at Nielsen, where he served as Director of Shopper Research. Prior to this he was an AD at SPA Future Thinking, focusing on category development initiatives, and he served as an SRE at Millward Brown. While his experience spans all sectors, he has a particular focus on FMCG, retail and technology.
Richard Jameson, MD of GfK UK, says the appointment recognizes the increasing emphasis GfK's clients place on understanding shoppers in today's multi-channel retail environment. Adrian Sanger, Global Head of Shopper, adds: 'James will have a central role in helping clients get to know the shopper and guide strategies.'
