Lee Naylor to Become TLE Chairman

In Sydney, The Leading Edge (TLE) MD Lee Naylor is taking over the role of Chairman from Nigel Marsh, who is leaving the firm to become a Partner at strategy consultancy Growth Mantra.

Naylor will retain the MD role alongside that of Chairman, while Chris Paxton will serve as MD for the firm's London office.

In addition to its Australian headquarters, TLE has offices in the UK and the US, from which it offers primary research, analytics and trends/forecasting services.

Naylor joined in 2010 as Head of Quantitative Research and Analytics, and was promoted to the role of MD in 2013. Earlier, he served as Executive Director Nielsen Consumer Research and BASES, prior to which he worked in the Marketing Science Group at Research International.

Marsh has served as TLE Chairman on a part-time basis since the end of 2013, before which he was CEO of D'Arcy Australia, CEO of Leo Burnett Australia, and regional group CEO of Y&R Brands ANZ. He also worked as a Director at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in London. In addition, Marsh has authored three books: Fat, Forty and Fired; Overworked and Underlaid; and Fit, Fifty and Fired-Up. His new firm, Growth Mantra, combines marketing creativity and innovation, with management consulting services.
